The Kokum Tree is an experiential home-stay nestled amongst a flourishing orchard situated in Raigad District of Konkan. Our edible forest is laden with mangoes, cashews, jackfruits, guavas, chikoos, bananas and of course Kokum!

We welcome you to share our home!

Our Story

Our story

Our lives before The Kokum Tree were made up of very different elements. While managing our jobs (Anuja worked as a management consultant and Sneha as an architect) and the hectic lifestyle that came with it, we continually longed to live closer to the nature. Over the years we wished to adopt a way of life which was rustic and primal. Something simple!

IMG-20180506-WA0000.jpg

Our grandmother’s orchard at Lonere is a place that has been cultivated over a span of 15 years. Aaji’s hard work and wisdom nourishes everything - From the lush textures of this land, to the bounty of fruit that grows here. Every time we visited Lonere over the years it pushed us to think more about the lifestyle we envisioned. So, packing up from our jobs, our families and friends in the city we are now here.

The Kokum Tree represents our sentiment of a life that is open and organic; where people connect to the virtues that safeguard our eco-system. We are always willing to personally interact with our guests and look forward to a creative exchange!
